Spoiler: Will Wren Ruin Spencer and Toby's Relationship on PLL?
We're really excited for Wren (Julian Morris) to return to Pretty Little Liars, but truth be told, we're worried how he might mess things up for Spencer (Troian Bellisario) and Toby (Keegan Allen). They're such a cute couple, but Spencer also cares about Wren and she might have to choose between them.
We're not sure why Wren is coming back to Rosewood and how things will play out next season, but we do know that Spencer and Toby will fight to stay together. Their families will forbid them from seeing each other, so they'll have to sneak around. PLL Executive Producer Marlene King told us, "By then they’re just so desperate to be together that they become an us-against-the-world kind of couple.” Can Wren beat that? Plus, in the promo for Season 2, Spencer and Toby share a passionate kiss, which makes us think they'll be together for a while.
Based on all these clues, we'd say Spencer and Toby will end up OK and Wren won't interfere, but you never know what will happen on PLL. Wren is certainly charming (that accent!) and is also a forbidden fruit, so Spencer might be tempted by him.
Spoiler: Expect A New Hook-Up on Pretty Little Liars Season 2
Rosewood is filled with romances and it sounds like a new one is about to form next season. Pretty Little Liars Executive Producer Marlene King tweeted, “Sunny with a chance of a new hook up in Rosewood today.” Naturally we’re curious who she's referring to and already have a few guesses:
There were sparks between Emily (Shay Mitchell) and Samara (Claire Holt) at the end of Season 1, so we think they’ll hook up sometime soon. Samara will definitely be back next season, which could mean that Emily will move on from Maya (Bianca Lawson) and Paige (Lindsey Shaw).
We also think Lucas (Brendan Robinson) may hook up with someone next season. He’s been rejected a lot and was left broken hearted at the dance-a-thon, so it’s about time he gets a girlfriend. King even told NYPost that “Lucas is going to be very prominently featured in the first couple episodes of season two," so it’s certainly possible.
We know Caleb (Tyler Blackburn) will come back for Hanna (Ashley Benson), but maybe she’ll eventually realize how loyal Lucas has been. Yesterday PLL writer Charlie Craig tweeted a picture of Hanna and Lucas talking at school; that’s at least a step in the right direction. Who knows where things could lead and if Caleb will actually stick around.
Then there’s Mona (Janel Parrish). She’s one of the only characters without a love interest thus far, so maybe she’ll get one next season. But then again, we don’t know who could put up with her.
Spoiler: Will the Pretty Little Liars Be Outcasts at School on Season 2?
Nobody likes a liar, which is why Aria (Lucy Hale), Emily (Shay Mitchell), Hanna (Ashley Benson), and Spencer (Troian Bellisario) may not be accepted at school next season on Pretty Little Liars. Everyone thinks they're crazy and that they lied about the incident with Ian (Ryan Merriman), so it's no surprise that they're the talk of the town. But even worse is that they'll be the source of all gossip at school and their classmates will give them strange looks.
In the promo for Pretty Little Liars Season 2, it seems like their fellow students are wary and avoid them when they enter a room. Spencer is still a person of interest and they're all being questioned by the police, so naturally their classmates are skeptical.
Also in the clip, we can tell that someone spelled L-I-A-R when playing hangman. Let's just hope they don't get mean messages from their classmates in addition to all the cruel ones from "A."
