You seem to have forgotten we have some lovely photos of a Dair make-out for episode 19, if I’m correct. So your argument that “Blair will hate him.” “Dair will be over” is either invalid or episodes away. No matter what, we still get more Dair make-outs.
Can you say the same for your ship? Didn’t think so.

Да, да! Мне тоже так кажется, потому что очень странно, что Ден по этому поводу не особо парится) К тому же в спойлерах же сказано, что союз Чака и Джорджины не будет слишком удачным) Чак сам роет себя яму. Блер же ясно дала понять, чтобы он не делал ничего плохого Дену, иначе это ее еще больше сблизит с Хамфри! Да и все эти прогнозы о еще больших заморозках со стороны сплетницы. И вообще, мне кажется, что многие как-то мимо ушей пропускают ее крылатые фразы. Помните: "Прошлое лишь пролог, все только начинается...") Я верю в это! И плюс в сплетнице всегда важны песни! Прослушайте слова той, что звучала в конце этого эпизода! Кстати, очень уж красивая)

It’s already been said by others but since Chair shippers love ratings so much, can I point out that over the course of season 2 there was a 35% drop in the ratings and this was a season pretty much devoted to Chair. And then lets have a look at season 3…starts of with a solid 2.55 and it’s apparent in the premiere that this year we get to see Chuck and Blair: The Happy Couple. And then what happens next episode, ratings down 1.97 - a drop of 15%. The ratings fluctuate a lot this season, and I often find consistency as a sign of good work. Anyway, lets keep playing the ratings game and what do we have in season 4? Highest rated episode is The Townie and that was the episode where Dan and Blair went on a road trip. And just for good measure, what was the lowest rated episode, Shattered Bass. The episode where Chuck was a total douche about punching a window into Blair’s face and having just looked at the promo again, it clearly gives the impression of a Chair/Chuck centric episode (hell it even has Bass in the name).
So basically, for all the talk of Dair killing ratings, Chair have killed just as many in the past. And people don’t realise this but ratings are data not a clear cut sign of quality. There are so many variables that we have no idea if and how they are coming into play and lets not forget about all the other sources of viewership especially on a show like Gossip Girl. Dair are not causing low ratings, get over it. And if they are and if the show gets cancelled because of them then that might just be our victory because the way things are now, Dair stands a much better chance of endgame from premature cancellation.
