Revenge's Emily Thorne and Daniel Grayson vs. Gossip Girl's Blair Waldorf and Chuck Bass: Which Scheming Couple Is Hotter?

When it comes to primetime soap operas, there is always drama, crazy relationships, and backstabbing, but Revenge and Gossip Girl take it to the next level.

At the center of both New York-based shows are two on-again, off-again power couples: Emily Thorne and Daniel Grayson on Revenge and Blair Waldorf and Chuck Bass on Gossip Girl. In addition to being two sets of ridiculously good looking people, they’re scheming machines that destroy those in their way.

Emily and Daniel may not have gone to school together since they were children, but their relationship heated up quickly once they met in the Hamptons. While for Ems it started off as part of her revengenda, she fell hard and fast for the Grayson heir, letting her emotions get the better of her and knocking her off her game.

And now that Danny’s trying to take down his parents, Emily’s more than happy to give him a few pointers.

The same happened to Blair. As much as she tried to fight it (by getting into relationships with other men) or simply forget him, Chuck always came back to her. They often worked together to fight common enemies.

Currently, neither couple is together, but that doesn’t mean it’s over. Chuck and Blair made a promise to get back together after they make it on their own first, and Emily and Daniel are separated by betrayal, but still end up dancing together in next week’s episode of Revenge. They’ve all had had a few pesky people get in the way of their relationships — we think Ashley Davenport is basically the sassier, more evil version of Dan Humphrey — but let’s be real: their chemistry is undeniable.

Mariana Van Rankin bien podría interpretar a Blair

Jon Ecker y Vadhir Derbez seguramente van a interpretar a Nate y Chuck.

Y Diego Amozurrutia será el encargado de dar vida a Dan.

Lo más seguro es que los nombres de los personajes cambien. Y ya de último quizás Dani Campos sea la encargada de interpretar a Jenny.

Sealed with a kiss! Leighton Meester and Ed Westwick lock lips following their long-awaited nuptials on the final episode of Gossip Girl

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowb....rl.html

It is the wedding that Gossip Girl fans have been waiting for.

And new official pictures from The CW channel have now emerged of Blair Wardolf and Chuck Bass's stunning nuptials.

The couple are seen locking lips as Chuck (played by Ed Westwick) dips his bride for a television-worthy romantic kiss.

Dressed in her beautiful blue beaded gown, Leighton Meester certainly makes for a stunning bride.

The 26-year-old actress wears the pale blue ensemble with a stunning silver leaf headdress, while Ed matches the colour on his suit lapels.

The wedding scene takes place in the stunning 'angel tunnel' leading to the Bethesda Fountain in Central Park.

The bride and groom are surrounded by their Gossip Girl pals, including Serena van der Woodsen (played by Blake Lively), Serena's mother Lily (played by Kelly Rutherford) and Nate Archibald (played by Chace Crawford).

Chuck's love rival Dan Humphrey (Penn Badgley) is also present, standing alongside Georgina Sparks (played by Michelle Trachtenberg).

Serena doesn't dare to upstage the bride by dressing in a sophisticated grey coat, black stockings and some chic stilettos.

Ahead of the nuptials, best friends Serena and Blair are seen chatting on a balcony.

Blair and Chuck's romance has been a rollercoaster, with more downs than ups.

But when, at the end of last season, Blair finally picked Chuck... the Gossip Girl faithful breathed a sigh of relief.

However, it wasn't a done deal, so they're still waiting for a happy ending... and this seems to be it.

But it appears that all doesn't end well.

In the episode titled New York, I Love You XOXO, after Chuck leans in for a kiss with his bride, they are interrupted by a police officer.

It isn't long before the groom is being torn away from his new wife as he is arrested.

Leighton and Ed are then seen having emotional goodbye kiss at the Republic Airport in Long Island, New York, which ends with Chuck boarding a private jet and Blair getting into a waiting taxi.

In a recent interview, Leighton opened up about saying goodbye to the drama series.

'I think it's ending at a beautiful, perfect time,' she told Vulture.

But it's [also] because our contracts are up. I don't think anyone wants to stay after their contracts.'

Leighton also admitted that working on the same project for six years can become 'sort of tedious' - and says she now wants to 'move beyond' Gossip Girl.

She added: 'It's been an amazing tool to learn from, and I owe pretty much everything... to Gossip Girl.

'But I could say, somewhat, [that] it's my personal growth that has made me want to move beyond it

I was 20 when I started, and I'm 26 now, so you don't want to be doing the same thing over a period that long.'

The Series Finale begins with the stars and executive producers bidding farewell to the Upper East Side in a look back at the show’s many unforgettable moments.

Then, in a fashionable farewell to remember, everyone's favorite Upper East Siders join forces for one last soiree (the wedding), and the shocking identity of Gossip Girl is finally revealed.

There were new images that surfaced of Chuck and Blair's nuptials. The couple was seem locking lips as Chuck, played by Ed Westwick, dipped his bride for a romantic kiss.

Gossip Girl Season 6 Spoilers: Is Chuck Saying Goodbye to Blair Forever?!

Let’s just get to the point, guys — we are complete, emotional wrecks and we’re pretty sure our cheeks have permanent mascara stains down both sides. Why?

Well, first we saw pictures of what really clearly seems to be Chuck (Ed Westwick) and Blair (Leighton Meester)’s wedding, and were beside ourselves. But then we heard Chuck might get arrested after they say their vows, and we ugly cried until our roommates called a help line.

Then we saw pictures of their possible progeny. We were pretty much spent from all the joy crying and fan fiction we wrote. But then, we saw pictures of Serena (Blake Lively) and Dan (Penn Badgley)’s apparent wedding and we needed to be treated for PTSD — in a good way.

Well, today we had to have our heart restarted, because we saw pictures all over the place of Chuck boarding a “Bass Industries” airplane and flying off while Blair was left behind to Taxi away (and not the good kind, with the runways and stuff). Thanks to Stupid Famous People, we can share a video of the gorgeous Chair filming the scene (with Chace Crawford [Nate]) at an airport in Long Island.

We’re going to try and nurse ourselves back to sanity, because we actually think this isn’t the end for Chuck and Blair (AKA the best couple ever to appear on TV). In fact, even though they are separated in the video, Ed and Leighton were spotted in these same outfits a few weeks ago while filming scenes with Blake and Kaylee DeFer (Ivy).

Gossip Girl' recap: The Rooftop Curse strikes again in 'The Revengers'

In the ten or so episodes that have gone by since his miraculous return from the grave, Bart Bass has gone from being an emotionally distant father, who struggled to show any affection for his son but deep down wasn't a bad guy, to a megalomaniacal pantomime villain with no clear goals besides illegal oil trading, destroying his son's life and being GENERALLY EVIL.

Given how nonsensical the GG writing has become, there's really no point bitching about what a missed opportunity this all is, or how they could have turned the stupid storyline of Bart's return into something really moving and interesting if they'd wanted to actually explore the father-son relationship, instead of having Chuck on a boring wild goose chase all season.

Okay, we're bitching. Sorry. But given how soapy the character has become, it only felt fitting that Bart should bow out in the most sudsy and melodramatic manner possible - by literally falling off a rooftop.

The scene was given an extra layer of ridiculous camp thanks to the use of the score from Charade, the Audrey Hepburn/Cary Grant spy-screwball classic that inspired Blair's nightmare. Her Audrey idolatry's been a running theme throughout the show, so it was nice to see one more dream sequence in that vein before the show ends forever.

But while it worked in the dream, all the music did was make a scene that could at least have been vaguely suspenseful totally silly. Between the dodgy choreography on Bart and Chuck's fight (are we the only ones unclear on how exactly he got from standing safely on the roof to hanging off the edge?), and the unintentional comedy of Chuck and Blair staring dumbly at him as he hung on, it was a sequence that could have been taken straight out of an unfairly exaggerated parody of Gossip Girl at its worst.

It's also frustrating because Chuck's storyline is so close to being The Lion King, god damnit. If only Jack had showed up out of the blue to be the one who watched as Bart fell it would have been perfect. Although that parallel would also require Bart to be a good dad, so really we're a long way from Pride Rock.

To Ed Westwick's credit, he really does sell this crap about as well as anyone could. He's been sleepwalking even more than usual lately (and given the tedious plotline he's been slogging through we can't blame him), but in this episode he was on point, and even made Chuck's final speech to his dad feel a whole lot more emotionally plausible than it should. When he says "a man takes care of his family", you believe the pain Chuck's in, despite just how over-stretched his family angst is at this point.

On a similar note, Chuck and Blair's goodbye on the runway was a really unexpectedly moving moment. Their relationship's become pretty mechanical of late, going through the motions of an epic romance with none of the passion, but this was heartfelt and sweet and vulnerable, in an episode that was otherwise bereft of anything that felt like real emotion. Leighton Meester's delivery of "I've waited too long, I need to be with you now", was beautifully delivered, and you can't argue with the girl's logic. These two have spent at least twice as much time pining for each other as they have actually being together.

Meanwhile, Nate got a storyline! With his dad! Sure, it was sort of predictable and dull and seemed to weirdly imply that Nate wouldn't have to go to jail for fraud despite, y'know, being guilty of fraud. But we're not sure Nate would do so well in jail (and we're pretty sure Chuck had the same thought), so yay for his pretty self being allowed to stay on the Upper East Side.

And the Non-Judging Breakfast Club (plus Ivy) were reunited in this episode to take down Bart, and it was awesome. Serena and Blair's goodbye scene was as affecting as Chuck and Blair's, except that we had way more mixed feelings about it because really, Serena should get her ass to LA and pick up her movie career where she left off!

It's understandable for Blair to want to hang onto her best friend, especially after briefly thinking she'd lost Chuck, but Serena could move to LA and they could visit on alternating weekends or something. Blair's so anti-Dan (and really, who isn't at this point?) but she doesn't seem to get that unless Serena gets the hell out of New York and starts building her own life, she's always going to go crawling back to Dan.

On which note... ugh. Just... ugh. So after publishing that vicious, pointless article about Serena last week, Dan's now going to worm his way back into her good books by showing her the equally sappy and loving article he wrote at the same time? Because apparently both aspects of his feelings for her are true? This is just such crap, for both characters.

The writing for Dan has just been a mess this season, even more so than last. He says he's been in love with Serena all along, even though he literally could not have treated her more like dirt or shown any less interest in her last season, when he was obsessed with Blair, and even though he's been flat-out victimising her this season. There's a segment of the fandom who will always complain about Chuck and Blair having a "toxic relationship", but Dan/Serena blows their dysfunction out of the water at this point.

Also, Dan turning around and introducing Chuck in place of Bart was confusing to say the least. Had he been conspiring with Chuck all along? Or just since Thanksgiving? Or did he do all that on his own? And if so, was that the big plan he was talking about last week? And since when has Chuck been an inspiration to Dan? What happened to "I don't want to live in a world where Chuck Bass gets the girl"? We are confused. A scene between Dan and Chuck afterwards would not have gone amiss, writers.

But the inevitable Dan/Serena reunion is most annoying for Serena's character, because she always ends up going back to this guy who does nothing but belittle her. Even now that he's written this glowing, poetic article about her, he's still belittling her because it's like he's granting her the privilege of being defined as a good person by Dan Humphrey.

It's just so weird how Dan seems to think that writing nice things about people is as meaningful as actually treating people well. Who cares how many simpering things he writes about Serena, when he treats her alternately like a toy and a really dumb pet in real life? Honestly, all we want is a scene where Serena finds the article in her bag, scoffs because she has finally stopped caring what Dan writes about her, and tosses the pages absent-mindedly into the ocean with one hand while being awesome and successful at her job with the other.

But instead she's going to find it in her bag and read it and turn around and realise that he still loves her and they will live happily ever after and it will make us want to vom. Sigh.

30 Hottest TV Couples Of 2012: ‘Vampire Diaries,’ ‘Glee’ & More

http://hollywoodlife.com/pics....6770485

It’s been a heck of a year for TV couples: Damon and Elena (Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev) finally had sex on The Vampire Diaries, Meredith and Derek (Ellen Pompeo and Patrick Dempsey) are finally having a baby on Grey’s Anatomy, and Charming and Snow (Josh Dallas and Ginnifer Goodwin) were finally reunited on Once Upon A Time.

And those are just a few of the milestones reached by our favorite on-screen pairs this year! HollywoodLife.com has collected the 30 couples we couldn’t get enough of in 2012 — even from gone-but-not-forgotten shows like One Tree Hill — and we want to know which ones you spent all year rooting for.
