| Well, Dan has written a scornful article about Nate ; Steven learnt that Nate & Serena had a love story. So Steven & Serena decided to tell each other their love past, Sage decided to invite Nate at the horse show to Steven try to know him better. Serena looked for Dan to ask him if he wanted to publish what happened at the divorce party. Actually Dan was at a meeting (organized by Georgina) to find a girlfriend (to have a good author reputation).

| 'Gossip Girl' Season 6 Episode 5 'Monstrous Ball' Preview: Sage Turns to Blair
Gossip Girl season 6 continues next week with episode 5, "Monstrous Ball," and it's time for yet another event where things can go horribly wrong for the UES.

"THE TRUTH — After Eleanor (guest star Margaret Colin) gives Blair (Leighton Meester) an ultimatum, Blair is even more determined to remedy Waldorf Designs' problems by making a splash with a dress at the upcoming Cotillion, but a shocking revelation at the ball affects everyone. Serena (Blake Lively) becomes worried about Steven's (guest star Barry Watson) attitude toward her, but after some investigating she discovers the surprising reason why. Chuck (Ed Westwick) finds an unlikely ally as he tries to drive a wedge between Bart (Robert John Burke) and Lily's (Kelly Rutherford) relationship to help expose his father's secret. Meanwhile, Dan (Penn Badgley) publishes another article, but the effect is just the opposite of what he was hoping for."
Blair hasn't been as successful as she should be with Waldorf Designs, and it sounds like things are going to get much worse. Will she get a handle on things before Eleanor has no choice but to step in? Meanwhile, Chuck is still trying to figure out a way to take down his father; is this "unlikely ally" going to be vital to his plan to gathering evidence against Bart? Then there's Dan, who's now staying at Blair's—and possibly part of some scheming with Blair (or at least knowledge of said scheming) if the latest preview out is anything to go by.
The Gossip Girl season 6 episode 5 promo for "Monstrous Ball" (below) shows that Serena thinks a proposal is coming soon, and at least one person doesn't want to see that happen. So what does Sage do? She turns to Blair because "there's no one better at taking down Serena than [her]," and it looks like things may very well go Sage's way. Uh-oh, how will this end for Serena and Steven? How long will it take before Serena and Blair's friendship is back to what it used to be (or near to it)? The series can't end with them still like they are now, right? So how will they go from scheming against one another to being friends again?

There will be a flash-sideways where they all meet up in a church to send Jack off to heaven. No. Wait. That was Lost. Jokes! In all seriousness, a source just dropped this scoop: The Gossip Girl finale is two parts: 609 ends with a cliffhanger, then 610. Over the two episodes, there is a dream sequence, a flashback and a flash-forward—maybe more than one of each. Buckle up, GG fans! The ending is going to have more than a few surprises.

GETTING WHAT YOU WANT — Serena (Blake Lively) and Dan (Penn Badgley) realize that they need to make amends with the people they have wronged. Blair (Leighton Meester) has one last chance to prove to her mother her worth as a fashion designer and with Serena's help, comes up with a plan to make her line the "it" look for Sage (guest star Sofia Black-D’Elia) and her friends. Chuck (Ed Westwick) is close to getting the evidence he needs against his father, until one of his closest allies reveals his plan to Bart (guest star Robert John Burke). Two words for ya: girl power! Yes, four of the show's badass females—Blair, Serena,Georgina and Sage—will team up by series' end to take on a common foe. So who on the Upper East Sidecould get these four (current) frenemies to team up? Here's a clue: Their target is male.

| Sage releases the sex tape at Cotillion. Apparently Georgina and Dan have nothing to do with it. Dan starts to have second thoughts about the serials he is publishing and at Cotillion Georgina corners him and threatens to expose the sex tape if he doesn't continue with the serials the way they'd agreed. Sage overhears this and gets Georgina's phone and exposes the sex tape.
Dan has doubts about the next publication of his serial after being welcomed into Blair's home. On his part, Chuck tries to get Lilly to help him discover Bart's frauds, but she refuses and he finds help in who he least expects it, Ivy who only offers to help him to continue her wrath on Lily.
Serena is invited by Steven to Cotillion because Sage is one of the debutants.

| Frank Ocean Makes Waves on ‘Gossip Girl’
The Popular Island Def Jam Artist Lends Tracks to Be Featured During the
Monday, November 12 Episode (9/8c) of The CW’s Hit Series
BURBANK, Calif. (November 8, 2012) — Currently in its sixth and final season, the stylish drama Gossip Girl — which has long featured an eclectic array of contemporary music — will use five songs from Island Def Jam’s artist Frank Ocean in next week’s episode. This marks the first time that a Gossip Girl episode will feature the music of one artist exclusively, and it also marks the first time that Ocean’s music will be heard in a television series.
The episode, “Monstrous Ball,” which airs Monday, November 12 at 9/8c on The CW, will include interludes of the tracks “Thinkin Bout You,” “Lost,” “Super Rich Kids,” “Pyramids” and “Sweet Life” from Ocean’s recent critically acclaimed album, Channel Orange.
Other artists that have been featured in Gossip Girl include No Doubt, Lady Gaga, Robyn, St. Vincent, The Airborne Toxic Event, Sonic Youth and many more.
