| Tonight on Gossip Girl: Romantic Revelations
This episode of Gossip Girl is called "Portrait of a Lady Alexander" but should probably be named "Why Revealing Your Romantic Histories is a Terrible Idea." Not as snappy, nor is it a play on an already existed piece of pop culture but it would definitely fit tonight's episode. This is thanks to Steven (Barry Watson) finding out who Serena (Blake Lively) used to date, but Steven (Barry Watson) also has something to hide. Spoilers ahead.
Serena and Steven have already kept some pretty big secrets from each other (real names and daughters) and still seem pretty happy in their relationship, but will they survive this? Serena and Nate (Chace Crawford) dated in the past and now Nate is now dating Steven's daughter Sage (Sofia Black-D'Elia) and Steven has had a past romantic encounter with someone who Serena is very familiar with too. This could be very awkward; as it turns out that the tangled web of romantic encounters spreads far.
After the disaster at Blair's (Leighton Meester) runway show, Waldorf Designs is being temporarily replaced by the mission to find out Bart Bass' (Robert John Burke) big secret as Blair teams up with Chuck (Ed Westwick). They both still want to achieve their goals before they can focus on a relationship together but they realized that if they help each other, this will hopefully happen sooner. So who is Lady Alexander? The answer might be at the races.
One partnership that fell apart last week is between Nate and Dan (Penn Badgley) as Dan decided that he would no longer publish his book in serialized form with The Spectator, opting for Vanity Fair instead. This has put a big dent in Dan and Nate's friendship, a dent that gets even bigger tonight when Dan publishes the Nate chapter. Nate also has to make a big decision in regards to keeping The Spectator afloat. Dan continues his spare rooms and couch tour as he can no longer crash at Nate's and turns to a surprising person for a place to stay.
Dan's work is causing ripples that could become waves and one person who is concerned about what Dan has written about them is Serena. Dan confirms that there is indeed a Serena chapter, but won't divulge the details. What do you think about Dan's decision to publish these tell-alls about his friends and former girlfriends? Is he coming off as a jerk? Georgina (Michelle Trachtenberg) wants to increase Dan's profile even further by finding him a worthy person to date.

Hurricane Sandy is making her way up the eastern seaboard, but her impact will extend from coast to coast -- at least, as far as television scheduling goes. In response to the storm and the many, many televisions that will be without power on Monday night, several networks have opted to postpone the originally planned new episodes in favor of airing repeats. This way, viewers on the east coast can focus on not floating away, instead of worrying about whether their DVRs will still pick up "Gossip Girl."
CBS will air repeats of its Monday night line-up instead of the new episodes that were scheduled for tonight. That means you'll have to wait to get your "How I Met Your Mother," "Partners," "2 Broke Girls," "Mike & Molly," and "Hawaii Five-0" fixes until next week, when the episodes are rescheduled. Repeats of all the comedies will air tonight, while "Hawaii Five-0" will be replaced by storm coverage.
The CW has also opted to hold off on airing its usual Monday fare, so you'll have to find a way to satisfy your guilty pleasure urges without new "90210" and "Gossip Girl" episodes. Instead, they'll re-air last week's episodes ("It's All Fun And Games" and "Dirty Rotten Scandals," respectively).
As of 4:00 PM EST, ABC still plans to run its "Dancing With The Stars" live broadcast, followed by a new episode of "Castle." NBC has no programming changes planned, meaning "The Voice" and "Revolution" will air as scheduled, and FOX will air an encore episode of "The X Factor."
On the production side of things, all primetime scripted shows filming in New York have suspended production this week, from the upcoming critical faves "The Following" and "Carrie Diaries" to current hits like "The Good Wife" and "30 Rock."

We totally would…if we could get anyone to actually talk about it. "There's so many spoilers out there right now that I really feel like I Can't talk about it!" Stephanie Savage tells us, though she confirms that there are either flashbacks or flash-forwards in the final hour. As for Josh Schwartz, his lips were also sealed ("There's a lot that's already out there unfortunately, and I will leave it at that!") but did tell us that the show did take steps to throw people (including the pesky paparazzi) off. Translation: Don't believe everything you hear and see!

| Exclusive: Gossip Girl Series Finale Set For December – and There's a Twist!
What’s that Gossip Girl fans? All you want for Christmas is a super-sized final episode? Done! TVLine has learned exclusively that The CW is planning to send Serena, Blair & Co. off with a two-hour series finale event on Monday, Dec. 17.
The night will kick off with a look back at the show’s six-year run (featuring clips and interviews with the cast and producers), followed immediately by the final episode, which TVLine can exclusive reveal is titled, “New York, I Love You XOXOX.”

The 6th and final season of The CW's "Gossip Girl" has been officially announced for DVD release onFebruary 19, 2013. The DVD, consisting of 3 discs, is priced at $39.98. The bonus features include:
- "A Big Farewell and XOXO to the Upper East Siders" - Featurette
- Deleted Scenes
- Gag Reel
Also, on the same day (February 19, 2013), the complete series set of "Gossip Girl" will also hit stores. This set features all the 6 individual season DVDs stacked into one pack. Nothing new besides the packaging on this complete series set, though. Just the separate seasons lined up in a new case.
