Seriously. I thought as long as the show has Blair not take Chuck back romantically by the end of the season, I'll be a happy camper. But with this? I don't want her to even think of wanting to be anywhere near about that guy for any reason at all.

How ARE they selling Chuck as a contender after that? I mean, that looks seriously effed up. Like she said something that got him mad, and he swung in her direction, she ducks, and he smashes the glass behind her. Drunk or not, whether he intended to hurt her or not, that's....intentional rage and abuse at her. (And I can't imagine that to be Vanessa. All the curls and sparkly stuff clearly looks like it's Blair there, ducking). And it would be the most upsetting if the show plays this moment as anything else other than how disgusting and abusive and sick it is. It isn't 'passionate', it isn't 'romantic', it's abuse.

And I'm repulsed and disturbed by the fact that some people still want Chuck and Blair to be together after seeing that. I mean, there isn't any way to spin it (and I pray the show doesn't do that, though it doesn't seem likely, which is seriously pissing me off. This is the whole kissing bandit thing all over again.)

Charlie gives me the creeps with her (possibly) SWF eyes all over Dan (who looked good tonight). I'm not sure if anybody has mentioned this, if so please forgive me for repeating, but I think the almost cousinsex could occur because Dan has found out about Louis and Blair's engagement and is looking for some... ah... physical comfort? I'm hoping that nobody interrupts and he is the one to stop the cousinsex with the crazy lady.

Also wondering about the significance of Washington Square and Nights of Cabiria, which both centre around the idea of a woman being used for money (whether the intention of the suitor or not). I'm thinking perhaps that Louis wants more from Blair than he's letting on, not the he doesn't like her but he there for more than her company.

I doubt she'll "return" to him twice. More than anything I believe she will go see him twice to beg him not to expose the IP and/or help her ensure the IP doesn't get out. His redemption will be to ensure that it doesn't happen, i.e. giving up the thing he loves most, Blair. The Prince probably finds out through Serena (which prompts her to leave the city more on that later) The pic from EW, which someone mentioned was an in between take between the two actors, doesn't mean she's forgiven him, simply that they are both at the same party. In the twisted minds of the promo department I really truly believe they are making Chuck a contender for Blair's affections when he's probably not. Blair will either choose Louis, choose Dan, or choose herself. Chuck will be hung out to pasture.
