I would say there’s always hope, but Ed Westwick, who EW caught up with at the premiere of J. Edgar last night, might (shockingly) disagree. “I don’t even know what I hope for them personally,” he says. “So much change and drama has been thrown around these days. In some ways, they are perfect for each other and it seems like destiny. But in other ways, I don’t know if they can overcome all the terrible things they have done.” But don’t get too down.

Edgar прошлой ночью, может (как это не странно) не согласиться. “Я даже не знаю, о чём я надеюсь для них,” он говорит. “В эти дни было так много драмы и перемен. С одной стороны, они идеальны друг для друга, и кажется, будто они предназначены судьбой. | Gossip Girl Wedding Exclusive: Who's Invited to Blair's Big Day — and Who's NOT!
Now that the secret’s out about Blair’s royal wedding to Prince Louis taking place during Gossip Girl‘s 100th episode, it’s time to turn our attention to what is arguably the most important element of the big event: The coveted guest list! Executive producer Josh Safran gave TVLine the scoop on some of the familiar faces that will — and more intriguingly won’t — be making the trek to Manhattan for the nups.
IN | Georgina. TVLine already reported that the wicked witch of the Upper East Side will be back for the wedding of the year, but we can’t imagine Blair actually inviting her. Maybe she disguises herself as an altar girl? Or maybe she cashes in on Charlie’s secret to get an inside pass?
OUT | Jenny. Taylor Momsen’s troubled alter ego is in London playing designing woman, and Safran confirms that she won’t be crossing the pond for the festivities. Blair would probably prefer to keep an ocean between herself and her rogue minion anyway.
IN | Georgina’s hubby, Philip. Scheming Georgina’s other half (played by Nick Cornish) will be back, so perhaps we’ll finally learn how he was able to rein in the feisty brunette and reduce her to marital boredom.
OUT | Vanessa. Last seen stealing Dan’s book, which included a, um, revealing chapter about Blair, it’s no surprise Vanessa (Jessica Szohr) will not be heading back. “Not that Blair would ever allow Vanessa at the wedding,” adds Safran with a laugh.
IN | Blair’s father, Harold (John Shea). He’ll make the trip from France to see his little girl get hitched. However, his partner, Roman, will not be accompanying him. But Safran assures us that “their relationship is in tact.”
OUT | Eric. Serena’s kid brother is away at school. But more importantly, his portrayer, Connor Paolo, is otherwise engaged on ABC’s Revenge.

Right off the bat there are many things that strike us as highly unrealistic about this sneak peek of next week’s Gossip Girl — starting with the notion that earnest literary scenester Keith Gessen would date a brassy tabloid queen like Liz Hurley’s Diana Payne, and ending with the idea that our very own Vulture would trumpet this pairing as “NYC’s Newest Power Couple!” (That’s for the Observer.) Still, we’re flattered to be included (look at all those fake headlines featuring fake famous people the production team had to dream up!) and can appreciate some of the more realistic elements of the scene, such as the sublimely condescending, freebie-hoarding assistant who just happened to be stalking his boss as Nate walks in the door (suspending disbelief that Gessen has an assistant, or a door) in order to hand him the Spectator’s tablet invite to a party (the medium of choice for new-media-monied publications with questionable futures), and most especially, the look of heartbreak comingled with incredulity and, yes, a touch of amusement, as Hottie McMan Bangs registers that he’s been swept aside for another floppy-haired suitor. Hey, man, it’s a free market. Please award and deduct points in the comments!

Я скажу, что надежда есть всегда, но Эд Вествик, с кем EW пообщался во время премьеры "Дж.Эдгара" прошлым вечером, возможно, (и это шок) несогласен. "Я даже не знаю, на что сам надеюсь в отношении них", - сказал он. "В эти дни произошло столько изменений и драм. В чем-то они идеальны друг для друга, и кажется, что они предназначены друг другу судьбой. Но в чем-то я не уверен, что они могут забыть те ужасные поступки, которые они совершили". Но не отчаивайтесь слишком сильно. Хотя он не мог раскрывать секретов, он намекнул: "Эти сюжетные линии постоянно держат меня в напряжении. Это какое-то сумасшествие. Все меняется каждую неделю... Впереди нас ждет много забавного и невероятного. Вот что я могу сказать".

What is Gossip Girl Actress Holley Fain Up To Now? Hint: It’s Pretty (Mc)Steamy!
If you’re a Grey’s Anatomy fan, you’ve likely seen Holley Fain in her role as Julia — the latest love interest of sexy Seattle Grace doc Mark Sloan (Eric Dane).
For all of us diehard Gossip Girl fans, though, Holley will forever be Maureen van der Bilt: The scheming politician’s wife who put a couple of pretty devious plans into action.
There was the Hudson River drowning scandal to get her husband Trip van der Bilt (Aaron Tveit) into office, for which dear Nate (Chace Crawford) took the eventual blame. Then, we have the game-changing, face-saving, totally-creepy “mistress” storyline that ended in that awful car crash involving Serena (Blake Lively).
Now, with signs pointing to the return of Trip later this season — could Maureen be heading back to the UES as well?
Possibly, but we’re not exactly holding our breath. Recently, our girl’s been busy swapping spit with McSteamy. (It’s a tough job, but somebody’s got to do it — right?) Brought in to fill the hole left by Mark’s beloved Lexie Grey (Chyler Leigh), Holley’s role on Grey’s is said to be an extensive one. It could likely keep her from returning to the Upper East Side... at least for awhile.
So for now ― for Mark’s sake ― let’s all just hope Julia doesn’t share any of Maureen’s at-any-cost, diabolical ambition...
