Gossip Girl returns for its fifth season in one week and if you're anxious to know who in the Waldorf apartment is pregnant, we're supposed to be getting our answer in the season premiere. To help get you ready for the new season, we've got a small collection of spoilers for the first two episodes.
Episode 5.01 "Yes Then Zero" (September 26):
Serena headed off to Los Angeles in the season 4 finale and we open with her having spent the summer working there. She's really been enjoying her job in Hollywood, but will a costly mistake make her loss her boss' (guest star Michael Michele) admiration and the job? Chuck and Nate have spent the summer touring the globe and decide to visit Serena on the west coast before ending their trip. Chuck seems to have taken up dangerous and exotic pursuits over the summer (witness his little stunt in this promo ). While in LA, the duo join Serena at a Hollywood Hills party and there Nate meets a new character, Diana, played by Elizabeth Hurley (which, of course, ends up with a romp in bed). Back in New York City, Blair and Louis return from their summer in Monaco and Blair is firmly preoccupied with planning her upcoming royal wedding. But Louis isn't prepared to take Blair's side when his family doesn't approve of her choices. Will his weakness break them apart? Finally, Dan returns from his summer away from the city to learn that Vanessa sent his book to an editor and that a magazine wants to publish an excerpt of the book. Dan freaks out about his high-society commentary being exposed until an "unlikely ally" helps him kill the story. View photos from the season 5 premiere.
Episode 5.02 "Beauty and the Feast" (October 3):
This episode continues to be set in both New York City and Los Angeles. After what Nate thought was just a one-night stand, he's surprised to cross paths again with Diana, who provides him with an exciting opportunity. Elizabeth Hurley's character will be in multiple episodes this season. Cousin Charlie (a.k.a. Ivy) also appears in this episode and meets up with Serena, who wants her to decide which world she wants to be a part of. Dan decides to ask Chuck to help him stop the upcoming publication of his book, but Chuck isn't in a great state right now and Dan feels compelled to try and help him instead. Louis' sister, Beatrice (guest star Roxane Mesquida), decides to visit New York City for a while. But she and Blair soon butt heads when it becomes clear that her motives for visiting the couple may have nothing to do with wanting to get to know Blair.
Gossip Girl's fifth season premieres on Monday, September 26 at 8:00 p.m. on The CW.

Leighton: Yes I do. I really think it’s a…good thing to explore. Because their relationship is very funny, and a little bit different than her other relationships which are a bit melodramatic (A BIT?. It’s just fun for me. I really like Penn and working with him and there’s sort of an inner struggle where other girls have felt when they’re like I don’t wanna like you, why do I like you? So that’s definitely still there. In the meantime there’s still a lot of other dramatic things happening this year like, she’s getting married to a prince
Josh: I hate it when that happens
Leighton: (laughs) And then of course there is Chuck with all that history and craziness so. Are we friends, are we possibly something more? There’s just all these different questions with that. And then there’s a baby somewhere in the midst of that with some character.

Как я поняла, Дэн "сделает" одного из героев своей книги геем (лесби). Сомневаюсь, что девушек. Чака? Учитывая его репутацию в реальной жизни, это никого бы не удивило  А вот странно, что за время съемок 7 серий небыло ни одной общей сцены Дейт, учитывая их близкую дружбу весь 4 сезон. Наверняка Дэн написал о Нейте что-то, что блондину не понравилось. Может это оно и есть?
