| #there are so many things I love about this scene #first theres the fact that despite knowing what klaus is like in a rage #caroline still yells his name and makes him wait #and he actually listens to her #how many people will klaus actually listen to in a state of rage? #not many #but she also knows she can do it #she knows he’ll listen #and then theres klaus #its like he’s stuck in two minds #the way he says she’s beautiful just gets me every time #because it’s like yes I like you #yes I think you’re beautiful #yes despite the fact that ‘we are not weak, we do not feel’ she’s gotten under his skin #and it’s like in some ways that frustrates him #but he won’t hurt her because whether he likes it or not he cares #yet the writers haven’t transformed him #the death threats are still there #he’s still the klaus we know #battling with these foreign feels #kind of like he wants to believe he’ll kill her if she didn’t shut up #like he would anywhere else #but looking at her he’s so consumed by everything about her that he wouldn’t dare harm her #even after she reveals her betrayal
