Vampire Diaries Scoop: Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder Talk Romance!
Elena and Damon! Elena and Stefan ! Elena and...Matt?!
On The Vampire Diaries, Elena (Nina Dobrev) is torn between two brothers—one who killed her own brother (Ian Somerhalder) and one who almost killed her (Paul Wesley). Oh, and both have tried to turn her into a vampire. Talk about romance! So which brother will she choose...if she chooses at all?
We hit the set of The Vampire Diaries in Atlanta to get all the scoop from the stars about what's ahead for TV's hottest triangle...or is it a love square?! Yes, it seems Elena will be doing a little reconnecting with a certain ex-boyfriend....
The love triangle is back on, and she's between brothers yet again," Dobrev teases. "It can go in either direction or neither direction. If I were Elena I'd probably want to step back and take a break from the Salvatores, no matter how brooding, lovely and dangerously delicious they are. It's just a lot. I think Elena needs to take a break."
Somerhalder seems to agree with his costar, guessing, "I think she is probably done with the Salvatore boys for a while." In fact, he thinks Damon has no chance with Elena. "I think Matt (Zach Roerig) or Tyler (Michael Trevino) or even the family dog would have a better chance of getting Elena than Damon would," he bluntly says. "The things that this man has done to this poor teenage girl is an insurmountable amount of bad. I just don't foresee her turning unless he can just get her away from vervain and just compel her to forget everything he's ever done."
And he's about to do something else he'll probably want Elena to forget, which includes getting with another lady. Tsk-tsk! While we asked Dobrev for the specifics and whether or not we'll see Elena's jealous side, she would only say, "Damon is Damon. Damon does and says things impulsively and because of his actions...he gets himself into trouble sometimes. He does things that will have consequences, whether for the good or the bad."
With Damon getting nekkid with someone else and Stefan attempting to drive her off bridges and turn her into a vampire, Elena will turn to another guy for support: her ex-boyfriend Matt, whom she recently reconnected with via a symbolic funeral on the very bridge her parents died on.
"She's definitely going to be leaning towards Matt, looking to him for advice and his opinion and his support," Dobrev explains. "He's the last human she has in her life that she can trust and confide in and that she has a history with." Dobrev was quick to point out, "That doesn't always mean romantic, but they do have a romantic history, so who knows?"
As for what's ahead for the former couple, Roerig teases, "Elena is probably going to be pretty busy with her vampires, but I also think that she's starting to realize that Matt is that guy that will always be there. Whether he falls in love with someone else or is with someone else, she can always go back to him."

Q. Why were you drawn in to playing Meredith on "The Vampire Diaries?" What about her made you want to portray this character?
A. Just getting to be on the show alone was a draw enough, but as I have gotten to know this character more, I have just really start to love her more and more. She's smart, sharp, strong and straight forward. I love getting to portray females that have a backbone
Q. What hints can you give us about Meredith's motives regarding Alaric - do you think she is a danger to him, as Damon suspects?
A. That I can not say, but I can say for the sake of Alaric's tragic love track record, I hope she turns out to be good for him and this lasts for a little bit.
Q. Are there any hints that Meredith Fell is somehow related to Logan Fell, from Season 1 and what her background is?
A. Same last name, same blood line. She comes from a long line of founders.
Q. You get to work a lot with Matt Davis, did the chemistry with you two come naturally or did it take some time to develop?
A. Yeah, definitely. I have really enjoyed working with Matt. I think he is a great actor and has a really great sense of humor. He and everyone else on the cast made me feel really comfortable coming into all this.
Q. Is there anything you can tease about how long we’ll be seeing Meredith in Mystic Falls?
A. That's a good question that I would like to get answered myself! ha! I really don't know how long she will be sticking around for. I just keep learning things script by script!
Q. What are some of the benefits of getting to work with your husband Paul Wesley?
A. Our work schedules are so opposite, we rarely ever see each other on set. But being in the same state for a while is definitely a perk to the job.
Q. What can we expect to see out of the relationship between Spencer and Melissa on "Pretty Little Liars?" Will Melissa be returning soon?
A. Yes, she will. I just love the mystery and secrets Melissa brings to the show. All the speculations I have seen from fans have been hilarious! I love it! You can bet on the upkeep of a tumultuous sisterly relationship from these two for a long time!
Q. With so much conjecture about who "A" is, is it fun or a guilty pleasure to you to try and work out the mystery with the fans?
A. Well seeing as none of us even knew who "A" was until reading the season finale myself, it has been a lot of fun trying to figure it out along the way as well!
Q. You’re a part of the social networking site Twitter, why was it important for you to join and connect with fans that way?
A. I actually resisted witter for a very long time. It was the coercion of my manager that forced me to join. I just never felt like I had anything poignant enough to say, or didn't see the point of it. But I have to say, now that I am on it not only do I get it, but I really like it! It's fun to see what the fans are saying about things. I have also connected with a lot of fans about things like Hospice work as well. I have had a lot of people get involved in volunteering with their local Hospice because of Twitter which has been just incredible!
Q. Tell us a bit about the work you and Paul do with Global Roots, and what fans can do to support you.
A. Global Roots is an organization that Paul and I felt was pure and had a really beautiful intention that we wanted to support. We are both hoping that if our schedules permit it we will be taking a service trip to go work in one of the childrens' gardens this summer. Anything as little as donating a dollar helps!
Q. What would you like to say to your fans and supporters?
A. First that I think it is amazing that I HAVE fans and supporters! And secondly thank you! All the kind words and support I receive is just mind blowing. I hope to continue putting out work that everyone enjoys watching!

Начало красивое. Эффектная драка получилась ^_^
Тайлера не было. Жаль. Я сначала подумала, что это не Мэтт, а он пришел.
Мэтт в свою очередь отличный друг.

Мередит какая-то непростая баба...
Элайджа - молодец парень. Вообще умный ход. Лицо Клауса позабавило, когда он свою семью увидел.
Елена теряет хватку. Сначала сброшенный Деем звонок, потом вообще на помощь ей не придет хД
Братья... типичные братья) Люблю их ^_^
Жалко отца Кэролайн. Прослезилась, когда он успокаивал ее. Сильный мужик был.
Семья Древних - это жесть. Чуя, там такое месиво будет. И мне уже не нравится мать их, какая-то непростая она...
Вообщем, серия понравилась. Только одного не поняла, как она выжила (Эстер). Ведьма же..

| [OopsS], Хоть кто-то отважился на содержательный коммент,я думала тут во всю обсуждения,а вы  куда все пропали !!!? Я от серии в полном восторге и подумать не могла что они такое замутят.... Порадовало возвращения Эла,сперва думала вот гад подвел Дея,когда с Клаусом так мило по братски решали убрать наших Сальваторе,но вроде обошлось Эл не подвел. Клаус кашу заварил еще и сделки предлагает,смеялась над моментом,Еленку выдать замуж за Мэта,лицо Дея мега прикол  ох,Стеф такой прям весь сопливый,нудный в этой серии,но потом когда с чувством сказал Дею что любит Еленку,так жалко их обоих стало,оба влюблены  как делить-то будем  !!! ОМГ как я испугалась за Аларика,думала ну все приснилось в последний раз,неожиданный выход нашли из ситуации Еленка молодца не растерялась. Вот не поняла прикола Дея зачем сбросил звонок,так блин Аларик умирал,а он не ответил я ведь переживала,думала помчится на помощь,а там все своим были заняты. Ой,так жалко отца Кэр хоть и не любила,но так жалко,так же Кэр без него,мне и ее жалко  . Серия интересная,я еще не все переварила,но услышанного столько было,что мне страшно что там дальше будет,Еленка снова в огромной опасности и как на зло СКОРО ОПЯТЬ ПЕРЕРЫВ -УРОДЫ !!!!
Мне еще это промо понравилось

Даа, шикарное промо, мне тоже понравилось))
И я кстати сначала тоже подумала, что Элайджа кинул Деймона. А потом когда они с "десертом" вышли, аж обрадовалась
За Аларика ужасно испугалась... Его еще на стиллах будущих серий не было, это вообще... Думала реально помрет.

| Мне понравилась серия, хотя она скорее проходная; подготовка к чему-то более грандиозному: 3.14. Поскорей бы.
Жалко Билла. Уже второй папаша, умирающий исключительно от ненависти к вампиризму и иже с ним (папашка Елены). Кэр жалко. Сколько можно ее мучить?
Загадочный убийца меня, почему-то, совсем не интересует. Ну ни капли. И эта Мередит мне кажется просто заполнением эфирного времени- нахрен она вообще сдалась? И так актеров понабрали ого-го сколько.
Званый ужин. Боже, это было эпично. Братья Древние и братья Сальваторе друг напротив друга, даже не скрывая взаимную ненависть, но вынужденные вести светскую беседу...Класс. А потом пошла жара.
Обожаю Древних. Они затмили практически все, что было ранее в сериале (кроме Форвуда, конечно). Если раньше мне было хотя бы просто интересно узнать, кого же в итоге выберет Ленка, то теперь от души плевать. И на Дэймона, и на Стефана. Когда они стояли все вместе, такие красивые...Но блин, че за патлатки у Финна? Видимо гроб с парикмахером достался исключительно Элу, либо же Клаус по доброте душевной и от скуки втайне подстригал его.
Клаус.Я аплодирую стоя таланту Джозефа Моргана. Очередная шикарная сцена с его участием. Это изумление, беспомощность, крах надежд, бессильная злоба. Так отыграть эту роль мог только он. Лучшее в серии. Пересматриваю последние три минуты уже стопицотый раз.
Мамашка отожгла. Я знала, что это она в гробу, но ее появление было эффектным. Похоже, она единственная, кого вся эта семейка боится в этом мире. Неужели, она настолько крутая? Тогда Ленке и братишкам придется несладко - мамашка-то не фанатка Петровых.
Кстати, я никогда не плачу, но у меня практически навернулись слезы на глаза, когда Клаус ей сказал так безнадежно и смиренно: "Чтоб убить меня". Вот что хотите, а я считаю, на нем держится весь сериал. И на семейке этой теперь.
