Well you'll all be glad to know that Chuck's cologne is Farenheit by Dior according to the screenshot i just made and you can also notice Bart and Lily's picture on the bottom left:
From the Dior website: Fahrenheit was an olfactory revolution and remains a unique fragrance today due to its unprecedented blend of mandarin orange, violet and the intensity of a leathery woody accord. A fragrance constructed around almost magnetically attractive contrasts: hot and cold, subtlety and power. Creativity, distinction, character… Fahrenheit boasts an inimitable fragrant trail and signature.
There's something I need to get off my chest because apparently I can't sleep otherwise. Shipping makes life so hard. So... about Chuck saying that he feared Dan was a better man than he was. Well, that is 100% in character for Chuck as it was 100% in character when he had thought the same about every single other guy. And it's also 100% the reason why even though I love 4.22 I also hated it. It's so typical of Chuck to think that he's undeserving and unworthy especially compared to someone who on paper looks like the better option. Chuck did some pretty awful things that unlike some others who shall not be named, he doesn't think very lightly of. The hardest thing that Chuck ever had to do was forgive himself.
I know that some may have hated what he said because seriously, Dan is a douche and everyone shoud know that already but I'm actually glad that he did. That way we got Blair's most perfect reply. "No one is better FOR ME than you". Because truth is, there are a million better guys than Chuck and there are a million better girs than Blair but Chuck wants Blair and Blair wants Chuck. I hope that finally got through that thick head of his. I'm sorry that some peeps didn't approve but not really (lol) because he needed to hear it from Blair herself, I needed him to hear it. I love him and all and I love singing his praises but for the love of everything that is holy, he has been verally backing me up since... never. It's about time he stopped selling himself short.
And on another note, I love that this puts an end to the misconception that Blair's affections are up for the highest bidder of good deeds. I never understood why it was a competition of who the nicest guy was to win Blair's heart. She's Blair fucking Waldorf. She wants dark. She wants twisted. She wants Chuck Bass. (Thank you, Serena van der Woodsen, for knowing your best friend better than any and every one else. You're my sunshine!)
