Blairs pregnant. Louis doesn’t know. Dan loves Blair. Blair doesn’t know. Charlie is back. She’s working at a coffee shop in LA. Serena is in LA. So is Nate. And Chuck. Chuck got in an accident. Nate is sleeping with an older woman. Dan’s novel got published. Serena has her job back. She runs into Charlie. Charlie hates her guts. Blairs wedding dress doesn’t fit.

| The premiere was actually entertaining. Not the best episode of GG, but definitely fun. Loved the Chuck/Serena/Nate parts. Serena was radiant. Nate was adorable and Chuck was hot and dangerous lol! So happy that Blair is also pregnant and I can't wait to see what they'll do with that storyline. Blair was adorable in her wedding dress but she looked miserable for the whole episode. So much for the fairytale.
I love how Chuck and Blair emotions for one another translate physically but in the opposite way: "I'm feverish" vs "I'm cold"; "I my whole body hurts" vs cannot feel any pain.

| А мне вот интересно, у Би срок 6 недель. Когда они уезжали показывали 3 недели спустя после дня Х. А ведь срок беременности считается с 1 дня последних мес. получается тогда срок был 4-5 недель, а сейчас показывают что 6 недель. Какая то нестыковочка получается. Если посчитать пару летних месяцев, то срок должен быть 10-12 недель. Может она специально скрывает ,чтобы Чак не заподозрил или сценаристы тупят.

It’s because all that obssesed shit about Dair. I think I’m not ready to hold up this the entire season.
Get over it. Chair is meant to be.

| Ok. Sorry for the length of this post beforehand. I can get a little verbose.
So I had mixed feelings about this episode. As a shipper there were parts of it I loved. As just a fan of Gossip Girl, not so much.
As a self-proclaimed Chair shipper I loved the emphasis on Chuck having difficulty coping with losing Blair. I loved that they emphasized it was getting the "Save the Date" from Blair that made him behave recklessly. I will be beyond happy if they allow Chuck to carry Chuck and Blair's love this season. Blair has been carrying their love since early S2 so it will be nice to have him do it for once. (In general I just PREFER seeing the boy carry the love story. It's some weird gender bias I have I guess. lol)
Another thing I loved is actually the way the writers co-opted things that are very CB and used them in the context of BL (the peonies) and DB (having Gossip Girl use the phrase 3words8letters). Very unpopular opinion I am sure. That is a great sign that these relationships, while important, will at the end of the day be pale comparisons to CB for Blair. At least romantically speaking. When a relationship really matters they don't parallel it with others like that. CJ and CB were paralleled out the yin yang. CJ was never the story. NJ and NB were paralleled like crazy too but I think the relationship that really mattered there was actually Blair vs. Jenny. But I digress.
Also, they've been doing this weird thing since S1 where they take something that seems unique about CB and apply it to some other pairing. They did it in S1 with Chuck sleeping with Blair twice (a first for him) and then in S2 sleeping with Vanessa twice. They later did it with him taking Jenny's virginity too. But the key is that, Chuck doesn't fall in love with these girls. The writers strip away things that in the end are meaningless in the larger scheme of things and what's left is that Chuck and Blair love each other. Plain and simple. So in this case I think what's going to happen is that Dan may end up telling Blair "I love you", something she coveted from Chuck in early S2. But it won't be the same, because as great as Dan is, he isn't the guy she loves. (To me this kind of reeks of Nate and Jenny. She pined for him hard. But she didn't win the boy. I predict Dan is going to do something shady this season to Chuck that helps Dan with Blair. Just a feeling I have from the Dan, Louis and Blair scene. I actually think they'll parallel Dan alot with Jenny this season) Of course, the last thing I loved as a shipper was the pregnancy reveal and what that implies about CB and Chuck's growth. Now all those Chuck and Doggie pictures make so much sense. Chuck and Blair are literally building a life together - as in a baby.
As for the other stuff about this episode?
There were other parts I liked such as Serena having focus and direction and not flitting from boy to boy for once. I will definitely enjoy seeing what happens to her in her career. I'm pleased she has a mentor. Also, Nate and the LA scenes in general were pretty fun. But I can't help but feel the episode lacked heart and kind of dragged a bit. My bias is that it lacked a big epic Chair scene to emotionally ground it. Alot of it was light and cute but kind of shallow and had little emotional resonance. The way they revealed Blair's pregnancy and Chuck's big ass bruises was kind of cool but still - it lacked emotional depth.

Chair fans. Blair wanting “peonies” for her wedding. Enough said. Definitley some foreshadowing here of Chuck turning up at the wedding with flowers omg please.
I actually felt really sorry for Dan this episode- he looked so hot- but my god, if Dair even begin to touch “3 words, 8 letters” there will be trouble, that is and always will be a Chair thing.
STOP TRYING TO MAKE DAIR HAPPEN. IT’S NOT GOING TO HAPPEN.
So saw Dorota being pregnant, but Blair’s baby omggggggg no idea where this will go but if she is pregnant it has to be Baby Bass.
Yet another cougar using Nate…well then.
Cya then Jenny and Eric.
Serena is trying to change her life around by doing things right and not being the it girl again? Let’s see how long this lasts. But I may be feeling some romance between her and the guy who sabotaged her.
Chuck was sexy as always and so cute but you could still see the hurt in his eyes when he looked at the wedding invitation…as that old vanessa looking woman put it, “he needs help”. He is not going to let anyone know how truly upset he is.
IM SO EXCITED FOR THIS SEASON I LOVED IT IN LA BUT TIME TO GO BACK TO NYC OMG IM READY FOR BLOUIS AND DAIR TO CRAWL INTO THE GUTTER AND FOR CHAIR TO REVIVE.
