A Royal Wedding: When’s the Big Day?
First things first: Roxane Mesquida sounds like the sweetest lady ever and we can’t wait to see how she plays the (presumably very bitchy) sister of a Monaco royal. Perhaps we need to brush up on our French films to see her work thus far?
Secondly, but equally as important: Looks like the Grimaldis will still be filming in October. Seems like A Very Long Engagement, indeed, judging by Gossip Girl standards. How far into the season will we be then? Depending on how long she stays upon her return, we could be looking at a mid-season wedding cliffhanger! What do we think, gang? Will high society bride Blair pull a Rachel on her wedding day (or perhaps a Tracy Lord, if there ever was such a saying)? And if she does, what kind of Rachel will it be: running out of the church at the sight of a gravy boat, or accidentally saying “I do” to the wrong man? Or the right man, depending how you look at it.

Gossip Girl Season 5 - Synopsis

Blair Waldorf (Leighton Meester) has spent a fabulous summer with her fiancé, Prince Louis (guest star Hugo Becker), in her future kingdom of Monaco. But when Blair returns home from the holiday, this Princess-to-be will quickly learn that planning a royal wedding can be a royal pain. And the fallout from Blair and Chuck’s (Ed Westwick) heartbreaking decision to let each other go isn’t making life easier.
Meanwhile, Serena van der Woodsen (Blake Lively) scored the perfect summer job in sunny Los Angeles, working for an A-list director. Being in California has clearly allowed Serena to discover a new sense of purpose, but will the return of her cousin Charlie (Kaylee DeFer), in actuality a struggling actress Aunt Carol paid to impersonate her daughter, threaten to ruin everything? Only time will tell.
Chuck Bass and Nate Archibald (Chace Crawford) enjoyed a hedonistic summer trip around the globe but, when they stop in Los Angeles to visit Serena, things quickly spin out of control. Nate falls into bed with a sexy and mysterious older woman, Diana Payne (guest star Elizabeth Hurley), who has more in store for him than he knows. And a seemingly carefree Chuck is chasing down exotic adrenaline rushes that might put his life in real danger.
After a relaxing summer in the Hamptons, Dan Humphrey (Penn Badgley), has his whole world shattered when he discovers that Vanessa has gone behind his back and found an editor to anonymously publish his autobiographical novel, INSIDE. Dan’s terrified of all his friends and family reading his critique of New York high society, but will he say no to the fame and fortune that comes with being a published author? It’s anybody’s guess.

GOSSIP GIRL EXCLUSIVE: 5.04 Title Revealed
The Gossip Girl writers have spoken: it turns out episode 5.04, Amy Harris’ first episode, is called “Memoirs of an Invisible Dan.” The title is based on the 1992 film Memoirs of an Invisible Man, starring Chevy Chase and Daryl Hannah.
The movie is about a low-level businessman named Nicholas Holloway, who writes a narrative memoir of his own life (hmm, sounds familiar…) beginning with the day that he accidentally became invisible in a nuclear experiment (suddenly not so familiar…). He starts off the story recounting a romance with Anne Epstein, a woman who is part of the events that lead to his invisibility, but she ends up marrying her fiancé instead of him. By the end of the movie, he winds up a millionaire who successfully avoids government officials and is cared for by the lovely Alice Monroe (Daryl Hannah).
Well, while we don’t expect GG to suddenly go adventure thriller on us, we do think that “Memoirs of an Invisible Dan” just might be the episode when the biggest secrets of Mr. Humphrey’s book come to light. He did consider himself invisible when he started his St. Jude’s days off as Lonely Boy, after all. We only wonder how much the new visibility and fame brought by his ‘memoirs’ will cost him. He may not have FBI agents after him due to the secrets he spills, but he just might have half the UES on his heels.

hi, i am coming late to this party but i have been explorong nyc all day i was at the set today and saw ed, chace, leighton, blake, kaylee, elizabeth hurley and zuzanna ( dorota ).
intrestingly blake only filmed one ed, chace and leighton had left and she only there briefly. i wonder what dan will be up to this ep as they have left him no one to really play with.
i got there early when there was hardly any one there and got pocs with chace ( who put his arm around me swoon!) kaylee who was so nice & friendly i think she my new fav, i hope she gets some really good SLs this year. She is also super beautiful in RL but tiny as i am 5.1 and in the pic she is only a little bit taller than mean she was in heels) and zuzanna who was hanging out with kaylee. blake also took pics but only a few group shot as there was quite a crowd ar that point but she was really nice to do that as she could have just left. she is also stunning in person and seems like a real sweetheart. ed and leighton dudnt do any pics and both rushed of which was didissapointing so today changed by opinion a little bit on the actors, especially blake who even took pics with a crowd there you could totally tell she values her fans from her actions today and this personal experience realy contradicts what i had previously read so it is a real shame that she is sometimes percieved this way,
Anyway sorry for the ramble but i though i would share, i am planning to go tomorrow as well an hopefully they will shoot outside and i have a bit more info

В принципе все, как мы и знали… И опять эта фраза «everybody's going to be sorry». Я так понимаю, в этом сезоне все о чем-то будут жалеть: Блэр о предстоящей свадьбе с Луи; Чак, что отпустил Блэр; Чарли, что обманывала всех; Дэн, что написал книгу; Серена и Нейт… тоже о чем-то…

| Well well well
Пройдемся по внешнему виду Великолепной четверки. Начну с моего самого обожаемого героя -
Чак Басс, а точнее Эдвард Грегори Вествик - Боже мой, разве вообще можно быть настолько красивым и таким не до приличия Hotовским?  Так и смотришь на эти фотографии, и не произвольно твердишь (а то и кричишь) что хочешь такого же мужчину (А лучше всего его самого ).
Его растрепанный вид в этом шикарном костюме, который, не будет ни малейшим преувеличением,если сказать, что сногсшибательно на нем сидит, со столь маняще взъерошенными волосами, заставляет лишь ахать и охать от восторга  ну и естественно оставляет море места для бурной фантазии.
Не зря, вообще, для Чака выбрали любимым цветом сиреневый, Эду этот цвет идет, прямо как месяцу полнолуние. Даже его морщинки на лбу, когда он жмурится от солнца, кажутся сексуальными, а его улыбка, такая детская и искренняя. Вообщем, я в состоянии полного очешуенного наслаждения Кого кого, но Чака Басса всегда удачно одевали, и очень радует, что они не изменяют этой традицие. За что стилистам, низкий поклон.
P.s. Мне кажется, как бы мне не хотелось, чтобы тем, человеком кто привел его в такое растрепанное состояние была Блэр, но почему то, склоняюсь к той версии, что это сам Эд, после съемок, не удержался и своими пальчиками "поиграл" со своими волосами, и от жары расстегнул первые пуговици рубашки.
Нейт/Чейз - новая прическа мне очень понравилась. Делает его старше, серьезнее и очень привлекательным. Хотя, куда дальше, он и так, очень очень и очень красивый для мужчины
эС/Блейк- как всегда милашка. Вот не знаю почему, но в последнее время меня просто переполняет симпатия к ней. Она красотка.
Блэр/Лей - мне кажется или она старше начала выглядеть? Но даже не смотря на это, она просто чудо. Макияж личика ее мне очень нравится. А бровьки, Слава Богу, вновь привели в порядок.
Свадебное платье - лично я оценила ее на 3ку, нет даже скорее на 4ку. Я не любитель слишком открытых, но и это не самый лучший выбор. Хотя может на Блэр, оно лучше будет смотреться. Низ платья, а точнее строение юбки ниже попы очень нравится. Верх слишком простой, обычный что ли. Хотя, по сравнению с верхом платья Кейт, этот мне больше по душе. Короче, платье мне скорее нравится, чем не нравится.
