Gossip Girl set experience #5
Ok, so this morning (well, until 3) I had class so I decided to go back to my dorm, have lunch and then go.
I got to set around 3:30/4 and when I got there I walked to the location and saw the trailers then I walked to the park to see them film. I crossed the street just to walk around and see what was going on (acting like I wasn’t there to see them film) and I walked right in the middle of where they were filming and I saw Kaylee! I didn’t notice her at first but then she turned around and I flipped (on the inside lol) but I quickly got a picture of her and walked across the street to watch her and William VdW (forget his real name) film.
The scene went like this:
(There’s a car and they’re talking behind it then I think it drives off or someone gets out then it drives away, I don’t remember lol but it’s not that important)
William and Ivy talk for like a second then they start to kiss
Then I walked around a little because someone said that Leighton was there and so as I was walking into Central Park I passed Stephanie Savage and this other writer (I forget his name but he was really nice!) on a bench right outside! At first, I was like, hold on… is that really…? So I walked passed them like 3 times before I finally went up to her haha I just walked up and was like “I’m really sorry, but are you Stephanie Savage?” So, obviously, she said yes and I told her how big of a fan I was and how I couldn’t wait for season 6 (and stupid me forgot to mention Chuck and Blair!) but I asked her about Leighton and she said she was filming in Central Park this morning but she left. So I got a picture with her and before I left I told her again how big of a fan I was and she was like “Keep watching!” And I said “Oh, I will!” She was really sweet but I think was a little startled that I recognized her (no one else knew who she was)
So after that I just walked around because I couldn’t really see what Kaylee was filming so I went back by the trailers and I ended up seeing Chace walk out of his trailer and onto set. I followed him to the next block and watched him rehears a scene where:
There was this jogger who crosses the street
Nate calles him to stop then they talk about something
(I tried to hear what he was saying but all I could make out was Chace yelling “STOP!”)
So then they kept on moving and it took forever to start the scene and I couldn’t see anything so I just left and went back to the trailers and someone was in one of them (turns out it was Bart but I thought it was Matt because I saw him drive down the street but I guess he was in another trailer on another street) but before he walked out I found one of the guys who me, Eileen, Xialen, and my friend made friends with another time (the guy who gave us the call sheet the first time) he saw me and we started talking and I asked him for a call sheet and so he told me he would try.
So after Bart came out I waited there for the call sheet and I started talking to some other fans and then pretty much everyone left so me and this one girl went over to ‘my friend’s’ car (he was working on Made In Jersey, not GG today) and then we waited for him to come and eventually he gave me the call sheet.
So, today was pretty good! Something I wanted to happen (LONG story) didn’t but it was still a pretty good day! Hopefully next time that thing happens (and if it does, I will post about it)

| rainydreams: So, I just spent some time holding a magnifying glass (yes, like an actual magnifying glass) to my computer screen and I think some of the numbers are a little more clear (or not, that is tbd). Anyway, I redid my breakdown of 6x05 based on the new callsheet and I think it makes sense for 38pt to actually be 32pt BUT I don't want to get any hopes up, so I put it in both spots and I guess we'll see...
Also, I noticed that the description for scene #35 starts with Chuck's name and then Blair goes running to his suite, so...
