| Whiff, насчет этого, читала очень хорошее эссе на эту тему
Absolutely- all those viewers saying how can Blair have suddenly developed feelings for Dan only a few weeks after saying she loved Chuck more and more each day have not been watching Blair's actions since the original kiss- while she professed the kiss meant nothing- she also described it as 'life changing'- and looking back now having seen the last two episodes- it is pretty clear that she did in fact go into deep denial
Blair:It's about the truth. Something happened recently that revealed my future and I've been hiding ever since 'cause I don't want to deal with it.
Learning that she loved Chuck and that he was her future would hardly be a shock- it would hardly send Blair to bed for a week- learning that she might have feelings for Dan Humphrey from Brooklyn on the otherhand would
But Chuck still underestimates Dan because he doesn't understand what's going on- he simply takes at face value Blair's professions of love- even though her actions contradict her words- the truth is that the only person stopping Blair from being with Chuck is Blair- when she says she loves him more and more each day- Chuck accepts that as the truth; even though she turns him down and marries somebody else; even though she invents pacts with God; even though she refuses to allow him to pay the dowry and makes up a million different reasons why she can't be with him- at least Serena realises that Blair is in denial about Dan and demands that she stop lying to her- Chuck doesn't question what Blair is saying at all
And instead of confronting Blair about the kiss- he tries to destroy Dan's entire career- when Dan finds out what Chuck did he simply goes and confronts him directly-
Now it seems from the promos that instead of dealing with the video by confronting Dan directly- or telling Blair the truth about it privately- he's going to try to destroy Dan publically (again)- without thinking of the possible fallout or even listening to the fact that Blair has warned him not to go after Dan- I'm not sure exactly how it'll play out yet- I agree with the suggestions that Chuck will probably expose Blair's 'affair' with Dan publically (the Grimaldis are unlikely to care that Dan sent the video)
When confronted by Blair he'll explain/ justify his actions by saying that Dan sent the video to Gossip Girl; believing she'll turn her back on Dan; believing she'll be so shocked by Dan's 'betrayal' and Dan's trying to 'frame him' and 'keep them apart because he wants you for himself' that she'll turn on Dan and come back to Chuck- But Chuck's logic in hopelessly skewed- Dan even admitted to him that he had't though he had a chance with Blair until the kiss and Chuck's reaction-whatever reason Dan sent that video (if he sent the video) it was not because he thought he thought he could get Blair- it's a video of Blair 'professing her love for Chuck' FFS-in fact- because Louis saw the video and still went ahead with the marriage- the video blast would only strengthen Blair's case for an annulment but that's a separate issue- presumably Chuck will think he can try and fix the dmaage by throwing money at it and paying the dowry but that's not really the point
Chuck still thinks that trying to destroy Dan is going to help him 'win' Blair- He doesn't even know why Dan sent the video or seem to care- it's like Chuck doesn't know any other way of dealing with the world except setting it on fire
I think in lots of ways Chuck is a fantastic character to watch- but he's a bit like that scorpion- even when he should know better he can't help but use his sting- it's just in his nature
As for how the episode will end- well it has to be with Blair coming to see Dan- it's the only thing that would make sense-Is it any surprise that if Blair fears she and her family are destroyed and she has lost everthing that she'll turn to Dan
In s5x02- we see how Blair (even then) fears all the Louis, Chuck, baby, wedding nonsense will end in disaster- the last scene is probably directly foreshadowning what's going to happen in this Monday's episode
Blair: What if I lose everything? Dan: You'll still have me. ...
Blair knows this is true- Chuck doesn't- if the final scene is Blair going to the loft to find Dan then hasn't it been forshadowed for months- almost like though Blair couldn't admit it she always knew the whole thing would fall apart in the end but it won't matter now because Dan will still love her

я вообще за рейтингами никогда не слежу, но тут что-то заволновалась)
чейры говорят, что на западе все бушуют, но стоит на youtube полазить, дэйр фанатов просто пруд пруди)
я уже там как рыба в воде среди своих)
а блер уже шлюха у черов, если бы она с чаком мутила...было бы все совсем наоборот)
даже смешно, их посты серьезно воспринимать невозможно))

не обращай на них внимания, у нас вон сцены из 5x16 получили практически столько же лайков сколько эпик пиано секс хотя он загружен год назад:D а ведь все равно дэйровцы для наших не существуют
