In den Gossip Girl-Anfängen zeichnete sich sein Charakter Chuck Bass vor allem durch seine unzähligen Frauengeschichten aus. Mit Charme und ziemlich offensiv machte er sich schnell einen Namen in der Frauenwelt bis ihn Blair Waldorf (Leighton Meester, 26) endgültig zähmte und zu einem besseren Menschen machte. Im wahren Leben macht Ed Westwick (25) ein Geheimnis um seinen Beziehungsstatus, obwohl ihm immer wieder eine Liaison mit Kollegin Jessica Szohr (27) nachgesagt wird, mit der der Brite bis vor zwei Jahren liiert war.
Scheinbar liebt es Ed aber romantisch und auch ein wenig dramatisch bei der Auswahl seiner Engagements, denn im kommenden Jahr wird er mit „Romeo und Julia“ im Kino zu sehen sein, einem der größten Liebesdramen der Welt. Da liegt die Vermutung nah, dass Ed auch im Privaten einen Hang zu Rosen, Teelichtern und Co. hat. Auf die Frage, ob er denn ein Romantiker sei, antwortet der Schauspieler im Interview mit der InStyle: „Oh, ich hoffe doch. Leider gibt es jedoch zurzeit niemanden, mit dem ich romantisch sein kann.“ In der Vergangenheit hat Ed aber seinem Serien-Charakter Chuck alle Ehre gemacht und sich für die Eroberung einer Frau richtig ins Zeug gelegt. „Ich habe ihr roten Rosen geschenkt. Und es gab den ganzen Tag lang Champagner.“ Obwohl das sicherlich noch ausbaufähig ist, sei es Ed verziehen, denn wer kann schon diesem Äußeren widerstehen?

04. Romeo & Juliet by James Horner
As a long-time James Horner fan, I almost immediately know what to expect from his score to Romeo & Juliet. It will be a grand, sweeping and orchestral score with wonderful themes and epic moments of romance and death. It has to be good, it simply has to. This is the project all Horner fans must have been waiting for all these years. It has the potential to become his new Titanic score (which I thought was wonderful by the way) so let’s hope everything goes to plan.
