The Gossip Girl actor, 25, is obsessed with nature and loves nothing more than spending his summers sowing seeds in the ground — because the experience is so “humble”.
In a recent interview, Westwick said: “I just love planting flowers during the summer. There’s something very humble about it, and natural and beautiful. We’re a more beautiful species in the summer – everyone comes out looking gorgeous and girls put on nice dresses.”
However, despite his genteel hobby, the handsome star likes to think of himself as a rock star as his most rock ‘n’ roll habits include blasting loud music to annoy his neighbours and shredding his own T-shirts to show off his manly chest.
He told more! magazine in Britain: “I’m a showman. I wouldn’t say I’m a rock star, though… all right, in my dream world, I am. I annoy my neighbours in my apartment building by blaring music out at 4 o’clock in the morning. I rip my T-shirt. I’m into the whole showing a bit of chest hair thing.”

Ed Westwick is a "showman" who likes to get his chest hair out.
The Gossip Girl actor is also a musician and performs with a band called The Filthy Youth. He is the group's frontman and feels alive when he takes to the stage, often resulting in some rock and roll antics.
"I rip my T-shirt. I'm into the whole showing-a-bit-of-chest-hair thing," he laughed to more! magazine.
"I'm a showman, I wouldn't say I'm a rock star, though? all right, in my dream world, I am. I annoy my neighbours in my apartment building by blaring music out at 4 o'clock in the morning."
Ed is British and says his fans love his accent. It also comes in useful when he is trying to flirt with girls, although he insists he's nothing like his Gossip Girl character Chuck Bass who is a notorious ladies' man.
"Whenever I like someone, I end up pretty much completely smitten. I pride myself on being one of the last romantics," he said. "My weakness is my neck - when girls get too close to my neck, crazy things start to happen."
The 25-year-old star finds it easier to get in the mood for love when the weather is warm. He prefers girls' clothing in the summer too as they tend to wear more dresses.
"I just love planting flowers during the summer," he added. "There's something very humble about it and natural and beautiful."

Ed Westwick may be best known for his portrayal of dastardly Chuck Bass on US drama favourite Gossip Girl, but he's not relying on his day job. He's been talking to More! Magazine about being the frontman of band The Filthy Youth.

There you go. He might just be our perfect man - and we definitely want to see more of his torso...

Ингаа, я чет не догоняю
сейчас отсняли 1 часть "город костей" из серии книг "Сумеречные охотники"
где Эда утверждали играть Алека, но ...не судьба
потом Кассандра опять как бы намекала, что Эд может появиться в роле еще одного героя этой же серии книг
А Will Herondale персонаж из другой серии , это "Адские механизмы", но именно этого героя ему хотелось сыгрвть
Получается , что по серии книг "Адские механизмы" фильм тоже будут снимать??

My first post is about the fabulous day when my friend and I went to NYC where gossip girl was been filmed, thanks to OLV we found the location, and after waiting for hours in front of the trailers (without seeing anyone), another GG fan showed up and told us she saw “IVY” having lunch inside The Plaza Hotel.. so we sneaked in the Plaza Hotel and then we found them!! across the window in the restaurant: ED and CHACE, I cannot describe how I felt in that moment!! when I saw ED!! It was like a dream come true! at first they weren’t looking at us, but suddenly Ed turned and looked at all the fans (like 7 girls including me) that were staring and taking pictures through the window, and he gave us a thumb up! and then looked away. Just one minute after that, he looked at us again and made a gesture with his hand like saying “go away girls”, i have to admit i felt a bit embarrassed because we were kinda stalking them, so after that (and seeing the waiter coming to us) we left! but It was an Incredible, Fantastic moment I would never forget!! just to see him!!! One of the best days ever!!! 10/01/2012
