Well, if Dan will be in a tux at some point, that can only mean good things for DB, right? It goes all the way back to the premiere where Blair talks about how tuxes show the capability of a man to provide for his family. It would be a sweet parallel.

Aw, man. I had such high hope for Nate's "because it's not normal!". And now he's vacationing with that loser? Maybe Nate is just being really, really nice and sacrificed himself in order to keep babysitting that baby. Poor Nate. Either way, that doesn't sound like Chuck will be with Blair, so yay for that.

I think it's just the writers embellishing how dramatic the show would be. Though, I won't be surprised if The Empire does go down in flames at some point. If the show's going ahead with TDKBB, then maybe they're ready to be done with The Empire set (as specced long time ago, TDK's gonna give The Empire to Jack anyway as probably one of the ~amazing things he does), so why not a bit of some fire and whatnots? As long as Raina doesn't die from it and make those foilers true, I don't really give a crap either way. Light and fluffy finale, right?

Oh, and the freaking kiss. No, I haven't let that one go yet. Show us the damn kiss! Which would be a much better campaign, really. There was this hilarious post at anon that the correct tag should be #saveblairfromchuck instead, and I cannot agree more.

I dunno if this should be a speculation or not but in 4x19, I feel there were more phrasing of the exchange of The Prince and The Pauper thing going on right there. While Charlie saw Dan goes in, she told Serena, and Serena went in totally thinking the guy Blair was with was Dan (I thought she should knew Dan's back a little better, she's the ex for good's sake) and when she found out it was Louis, she thought Charlie had mistaken the pauper with the prince. Pretty subtle but may be important to "Blair's Prince" thing they have been using in the finale's synopsis.

Of course the finale should be about Blair choosing 'her prince' and 'the dark knight' (noted that its not her dark knight), but question is who is her prince exactly since Blair's sl had been full on the prince and the pauper theme since season premiere. Maybe the pauper had turned into 'her prince' thus the usage of 'her' instead 'the' in the synopsis (earlier in promos we have 'the prince'). Also note that Blair tends Dan's cater waiter usage again in 4x19 which relates back to Henry Prince being a waiter, again, Prince and Pauper theme.

I think Dan is going of somewhere (maybe Alaska, which btw agreed that Dan couldn't handle that, Penn Badgley could though, he's into that sort of things, wild and stuff) leaving NY behind and comes back in s5 thinking he was fresh out of Blair's circle when he found out he wasn't because Blair did try to find him before summer but he was gone. I can see the character be a little arrogant, especially in a place like Alaska. Also the mention of 'Into The Wild' really makes me think that maybe it is more of Dan than others because the story was about a smart educated guy, leaving off everything behind just to find meaning of life in the wild (and by wild I meant strangers outside) because it was hard for him living in a world where it relied on fake attributes (connect this to the drama of the UES).

Hopefully it's just a preview for now since we have 3 more episodes where they'll (not) be 'friends' some more and I'll have to upload a more complete one. We'll see. Let me know if I missed any friends mentions.
