Ed Westwick thinks British girls are the "best in the world".
The 'Gossip Girl' star is attracted to "genuine" women with a sense of humour and would love to hook up with someone from his home country one day.
He said: "I like genuine girls I can laugh and have fun with. I like a girl with a sense of style, and I'd have to go out with someone who can whip me into line when I need it.
"But I have to say that British girls are the best in the world. There isn't any doubt about it."
Ed dated his 'Gossip Girl' co-star Jessica Szohr until late last year and despite previously being romantically linked with another actress from the show, Leighton Meester, he says there is no chance of them getting together in real life.
He told Look magazine: "We've got a great relationship but we're more like brother and sister. She is a wonderful girl and a remarkable person and we hang out when we're both not working."
Ed has previously spoken of his belief in love at first sight but said he thinks a lasting relationship has to be based on more than lust.
He said: "It's incredible, it's intoxicating. To fall in love with someone at first sight is fine, but in order to have a working relationship you need to realise that love is just one thing in a whole relationship."

Вроде нет. Думаю тут не совсем правильно фразу построили. Скорее всего хотели сказать об отношениях Чака и Блэр и о том, что в реальную жизнь эти отношения перейти не могут.

The audio book for Clockwork Prince, the second installment to Cassandra Clare’s The Infernal Devices series, will include the vocals of Ed Westwick (who co-narrated the first book in the series, Clockwork Angel).
According to The Mortal Instruments Examiner, rather than using the thick New York accent Westwick had for the audio book for Clockwork Prince, he’ll be using a more natural version of his own accent.
Very exciting, right? Did you listen to the Clockwork Angel audio tape? If so, did you enjoy what Westwick did on that one?
