Я тоже недавно была, платье на др к подруге купила с красивыми рисунками такими, а после 8 марта еще поеду, надо ботильоны найти джинсы и кучу мелочей)))

BLAIR’S ‘SUDDEN’ CHANGE OF FEELINGS: Actions > Words
I’ve come across a lot of people who say they are really confused about Blair’s sudden change of feelings for Chuck and Dan. Didn’t she just say a couple of episodes ago that she loves Chuck more and more every day? Then how would it be possible that she suddenly stopped loving Chuck and gave her heart to Dan?
To be honest, they couldn’t be more off. ‘Cause when you take a better look at the whole picture, this change in feelings wouldn’t actually be so sudden anymore. The hints have been there all along. And you know how the saying goes, don’t you? Actions speak louder than words; they speak for themselves!
So, what does Blair really want? How does she really feel about Chuck and Dan?
To get my point across, I decided to make a list of Blair’s ACTIONS towards Chuck and Dan versus her own WORDS, and you can decide for yourself whether Blair’s feelings have changed so ‘suddenly’.

BLAIR TOWARDS CHUCK
Words:
“I love you Chuck.” (from 4x09 onwards)
Actions:
1. Even though there was nothing in the way of being together again, Blair first wanted to build a strong career to be an equal to Chuck (4x09)
2. Right after the ‘life-changing’ kiss with Dan, she ‘realized’ she wanted to be with Chuck again (hereby dismissing the ‘strong career / equal’ wish), but still remained in bed ‘sick’ for more than 7 days before confronting him about it (4x18)
3. After this ‘strong realization’ that she wanted to be with Chuck again, she dismissed this thought immediately when he made a fool out of Dan (4x18)
4. She took the first opportunity she got to be in a relationship with Prince Louis and even got engaged to him, even though she would not be considered an equal to Louis and would be in his shadow (4x19 & 4x20)
5. When she wanted to tell Louis that it’s over between them, so that she could be with Chuck again, she could not bring herself to tell him that when the opportunity presented itself. Instead, Chuck spoke up and told Louis he had his blessing, while Blair remained silent. If she really wanted to be with Chuck, she would have spoken up and ended things with Louis (4x22)
6. She decided to make lists of pros and cons in order to make the decision whether she should choose Chuck or Louis, even though she mentions that “Lists are for choosing bridemaids, not who you’re spending the rest of your life with” (5x10) It shouldn’t be that hard to choose when you really love someone, right?
7. Even though she thought Chuck had really changed / become the man she’s always wanted and really wanted to call it off with Louis, she did not take the iniative to talk to Chuck about starting over again together - Dan had to set them up in one room / plant the idea in her head to ask about raising another man’s baby (5x10)
8. Even though she strongly feels feels that “Signs are for the superstitious and the lower-class”, she took the car-crash when she was trying to go away with Chuck as a sign of God to prevent them from happening. She even made a pact with Him to save Chuck’s life in the hospital in exchange for marrying Louis and never being with Chuck again (5x11)
9. Even when she DID break this pact by willing to divorce Louis, she still didn’t want to get back with Chuck and told him to let her handle things with her sham marriage on her own, despite him willing to buy her from Louis to pay off the dowry immediately so that there was nothing standing in their way (5x14)
10. She then continues with “What kind of chance do we have if our fresh start is you buying me from Louis? When and if we end up together, it has to be as equals”, thus coming back full circle to Action 1 as described earlier (5x14)
11. When Chuck asks her on the phone whether her feelings for him have changed, she says no, but then hestitates for a little while and proceeds with “I don’t know”, even though she’d always been sure of her feelings for Chuck up to that point (5x16)
12. At CeCe’s wake, when Dan took the high road by admitting he was the one trying to keep Chuck and Blair apart, Blair still didn’t want to get back with Chuck even though nothing was stopping her this time. Instead she says to Chuck “Humphrey is not the reason why we’re not together, and neither is the dowry” (5x17)
13. When Chuck explained his actions at the wake by saying “Because I love you” to her, she says it back to him, but in such a way that he understands that it’s different this time and that something’s changed. She then continues with “But that doesn’t mean I’m in love with you. I’m sorry, I have to go.” Then, she walks away. (5x17)
Also important:
1. After losing her job at W, she mentioned to Dan that “In her heart, Chuck feels further away than ever” (4x16)
2. When Serena tried to defend Chuck, Blair replies with that she’s happy now: “Happy, Serena! Do you know the last time I felt joy? Chuck had brought me into his darkness for so long I had forgotten what that felt like.” (4x20) Put this into perspective with when she was asked what she really wanted in season 5: “I just want to be happy” (5x10)
3. When talking to Cyrus about Blair’s “places devoid of even a hint of sparkle”, she mentions that “Chuck was the only one who loved those sides, but that he couldn’t see the rest” (quotes Blair 4x21)
4. Even though she was just buying time by talking about Chuck to Russel Thorpe when Blair was kidnapped, she still says to him that “I loved Chuck for so long and… he’s just punished me for it. He ended up treating me like something he owned instead of something he earned. And it destroyed me. I thought I’d never get over it, but I finally found a way out of the darkness.” (4x22) And I think we can all agree that when you’re under a lot of stress to buy time, telling the truth is the easiest way to do that.
5. When talking to Lola about Gossip Girl, Blair said that she should skip the entire freshman year of college (5x16). And that freshman year of college conveniently was the period where she used to be in a relationship with Chuck Bass.
6. While performing as Claire in the play of the UCB, she cracks a joke “You guys are really good, making fun out of this!”, after she reads the lines “I don’t know who I am without him (Charlie Trout), Sabrina!” (5x16)
7. A crucial quote from Serena: “Come on Blair, we both know that when you have feelings for someone, nothing in the world matters.” (5x16) And if you’ve read my ‘Actions’ above, you may have noticed that there’s always something stopping Blair from going to Chuck.
AND NOW….
BLAIR TOWARDS DAN
Words:
“We’re just friends.” / “There’s nothing between us.” (until 5x16)
Actions:
1. Even though she already had trouble admitting being friends with Dan, she still let him convince her to try out one kiss (4x17)
2. After said kiss, she ‘just looked stunned, went upstairs and left Dan standing in her foyer’ (quote Dan 4x18) - and stayed in bed ‘sick’ for more than a week (4x18)
3. Even though she already told Dan that the kiss meant nothing to her, the moment Dan tells her he felt the same way about the kiss, her face dropped immensely as if she were sad and disappointed (4x18)
4. When she needed to stage a kiss in front of Louis’ royal advisor, she could have called Chuck, Nate or anyone else, but still asked Dan to do it and was getting all handsy (4x19)
5. When she had issues with Louis, she ran to Dan (even though she hadn’t seen him the entire summer) and even asked him to take her away to The Hamptons and stay there with her to figure out her relationship with Louis (5x01)
6. Even though one couldn’t tell from Dan’s book INSIDE what kind of kiss their first kiss was like (Lola had to ask Dan in 5x16 if it was a passionate one or just a normal, short one on the lips), Blair still imagined it to be a passionate, hot kiss with Dan. You could also tell from the scene that she unconciously wanted Dan to step up his game by telling Blair that he doesn’t believe her when she says there is nothing between them (5x04)
7. At Nate’s ‘Back to School Party’ when Blair tried to play cupid for Dan & Serena, she tells Dan that “Serena already likes him and he has nothing to worry about”, yet she rips off his tie and unbuttons his shirt anyway (5x15)
8. When she realized she still had Dan’s tie in her hands, she just wanted to find Dan to return it to him before she could leave the party with Estee. But when she did find him, she proceeds to close the door, leaving just the two of them in the room when she actually only had to return his tie (5x15)
9. After asking Dan what would make him happy, and his response being slowly going in for a kiss, she did not stop him and even kissed him back (5x15)
10. When Dan asked her whether she had feelings for him, she did not respond with a simple ‘No, I don’t, I’m sorry”, but with “Serena’s my best friend, and I would never do anything to hurt her” (5x15)
11. Even though she wanted to prove to Serena that she didn’t have feelings for Dan, she was still eager to show Lola what her and Dan’s first kiss was like and was still getting all handsy (“Do I need to hold your hand for support?”) (5x16)
12. Even though Blair says that “Claire would never kiss Dylan passionately, ever! If she had to kiss him at all, it would be perfunctory. Like shaking someone’s hand, or, petting a dog”, she still ended up kissing Dan, passionately (5x16)
13. When Serena walks in on them kissing yet again and demands Blair to admit that she likes Dan, she replies with “I… I don’t! I’m… I’m married, and I promised Chuck that I’ll wait for him. And, and then there’s the clause in the prenup!”, only listing external factors instead of internal ones (5x16)
14. During the play when Dylan was mentioned, she looks up surprised, caught off guard, and desperately scans the audience to find Dan. When she hears that “Dylan’s always been there for you, even if you don’t know it. No matter how you treat him, he cares for you, not in spite of who you are, but because of it”, she finally realizes her feelings for Dan and that he loves her for who she is (5x16)
15. Even though Dan (falsely) admitted that he had been trying to keep Blair and Chuck apart, there was nothing left that could stop Blair from getting back to Chuck. Still she chooses to be with Dan (5x17)
Also important:
1. After spending so much time with Dan, Dorota lets Blair know that “Something is different about you. You’re too happy. Content.” Blair responds with “I have found my center, that’s all” (4x17)
2a. When Dorota confronts Blair what’s wrong (after the kiss in 4x17 with Dan), Blair replies with “It’s about the truth. Something happened recently which revealed my future, and I’ve been hiding ever since, because I don’t want to deal with it” (4x18)
2b. When Blair mentions to Serena that she hasn’t seen Dan since their kiss in 5x15, Serena replies with “Which proves my point. Whenever you have feelings for someone that you can’t deal with, you avoid them” (5x16) So by following this logic, she had been fighting/surpressing these feelings for Dan until now.
3. When Serena found out about the staged kiss with Dan at the Pink Party, Blair defended herself with “I was in denial. I never thought I begun to understand the Humphrey appeal.” She also mentioned that “Dan and I have a real connection” (4x19)
4. Blair mentions to Dan that “He’s the only person she knows in New York”, that “He’s the only person who she could have a furtive emotionally loaded conversation with”, and that “He was the only one who could protect her from her worst instincts” (quotes Blair 5x01, 5x02 and 5x03 respectively)
5. She continued to confide in Dan the most (way more than BFF Serena / Dorota / her mother) and he was the very first to know that she was pregnant. He was also the only one Blair asked to come with her to her gown fitting at Vera Wang. She even told him about the secret pact with God first and let him unzip her dress while still being very comfortable with that (5x11)
6. When Blair accidentally stumbled upon the wedding vows, she tells Serena - not knowing that Dan actually wrote them - that “It’s like they peered into my soul” (5x12)
7. The first person she thought of when she found out her marriage was a sham, was Dan. She asks him specifically not to tell anyone else about where they were going after they left the wedding reception. Even when they were at the airport and Blair needed Dan’s phone to call somebody, it was Dorota, and not Serena / Chuck / her mother (5x13 & 5x14)
8. After telling Chuck that she didn’t need his help and that she should handle things on her own with the sham marriage, she immediately went to Dan because she needed to know that he’ll be there for her (5x14)
9. When she tried to cheer Dan up by saying “Just be your charming, wonderful self like you’ve been with me all year”, and him asking her if she thinks he’s been wonderful, she lists all the things he’s done for her and ends with “If you’re that guy with Serena, how could she not love you?” (5x15)
10. Even though she knows full well that she would have to pay the dowry when / if it would come out she violated her marriage, she still kissed Dan back in 5x15 and even initiated kissing him twice in 5x16
11. When Chuck mentions to Blair to “Tell that to your boyfriend over there”, she doesn’t say anything to correct him (5x17)
12. When she visits Dan at the loft to tell him that “Chuck doesn’t have her heart anymore and that it belongs to someone else now”, she’s beaming and smiling like we’ve never seen before. She’s finally happy (5x17)

Не, в жилетках холодно, ну или под них кожанку по любому одевать придется и сейчас их тоже так много :/
