Chuck, Blair at Lily’s. Dorota is carrying her baby daughter Anastasia in 4.10 (and a pie lol). In 4.22 is Blair at Lily’s with Chuck carrying their baby? I know this is just a speculation because we aren’t sure about the finale, but my suggestion is to never lose hope. I believe hints (and in this case let Dorota accompany CB to Lily’s with her daughter) isn’t just casual. And, as they say here when someone is pregnant has “the bread/cake in the oven”.
4.10 ■ Blair wants to get back with Chuck after they found themselves still in love at B’s party. “Maybe nothing has to change between us.” 4.22 ■ Blair wants to get back with Chuck after they found themselves still in love at the Bat Mitzvah. “What we have is a great love.”
4.10 ■ Chuck lets Blair go. “We need to be on our own, figure out where we go from there.” 4.22 ■ Chuck lets Blair go. “I need to let you go. You need to let go.”
Both episodes have Chuck looking devastated by his choice. It’s obviously something he doesn’t want to do because he loves her and he just wants to be with her, but he is brave enough to put aside his selfishness and let her go finding happiness, the happiness she deserves and that he doesn’t think he can give her. It isn’t easy letting go someone you love because you might lose them. Chuck did the least selfish act of most of his life. If two people are meant to be together, eventually they’ll find their way back.
Also, in 4.10 Blair kisses Chuck’s cheek before leaving while in 4.22 it’s him that kisses her cheek before going away. My meaning is that in 4.10 she knew she had to let go too, so she smiles about it and leaves because she gets Chuck is right. In 4.22 on the other hand it was most him letting her go her way and give her space and he smiles to let her know he’s okay. In both occasions there’s the explicit demonstration of a relationship that’s still there despite they aren’t together as a couple.
Have you ever had any embarrassing moments together?
The most awkward one I can remember is a scene where I was supposed to give her a massage. They tried to make it comical. Leighton was on her back and I was supposed to have my knees somewhere. I was holding her and doing this weird rocking motion, but the camere was at the end of the bed, so I had to get lower to go my head in the shot. I had to move around while saying my lines. I was like, “what the hell am I doing?” That was a weird scene to do. — Ed Westwick (x)
