I’ve always loved Chuck and Blair, always, but I don’t think I had quite grasped the beauty and depth of their relationship up until the end of Gossip Girl, or until I finished this video anyway. I know they’re not perfect, they’re actually anything but, they make way too many mistakes, aren’t honest about their feelings, and hurt each other more often than not. But that’s exactly what makes them so right for each other, because at the end of the day, all they’ve been doing, or trying to do, through thick and thin, is fighting to finally be together. Yes, it took them long enough, too many times only one of them was ready or free or mature enough, but they waited, and they kept waiting, because they knew deep down that they were meant to be. Rewatching all of their scenes from the beginning til the end, seeing how far they’ve come and all the obstacles they had to overcome, actually made me cry, because they are hands down one of the best couples tv has ever had. They’re Chuck Bass and Blair Waldorf. They are in love, and epic, and thrilling. And most importantly, they are forevermore.
